Lapeer, MI — July 19, 2018 — Web Centre, a website design and marketing company based in Lapeer, Michigan donated $5,000 to two local area non-profit organizations in the city of Lapeer. The donations, which were made at the Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce “Wake Up Lapeer” event, were given to Lapeer Area Citizens Against Domestic Assault (LACADA) and Stone Soup Food Pantry.

Founder & CEO of Web Centre, Robert Norcross, said about the donations, “I don’t think that there is anything better than helping somebody that is in need. I started my web design company in Lapeer when I was 19 years old. Then it was just me and a couple of clients. Today we have a full team and work with 100+ businesses. Given that success, we wanted to give back to our community.  We also hope that this encourages people and businesses to give back to the community as well.”

LACADA provides free and confidential support to live a life free from violence. Whether it be shelter, resources – whatever a person made need in a situation like this. The organization provides those services free of charge – which requires their organizations to rely on grants, fundraisers and donations just like this.

Stone Soup Food Pantry is a local food bank in Lapeer, Michigan. For merely $1 in donations, that equals 3 meals to people. Stone Soup specifically will hand out more than 3 Million pounds of food every year to local churches, organizations, and to people that are in need.
