Project Brief: An Escape Game is a real-life adventure game for small groups people. The game challenges your wits and skills to find clues and solve ciphers and will test your ability to work with a group as you attempt to escape from a locked room in under 60 minutes!
Michigan Escape Games came to us before they even started their business. They were in the initial stages and met with us to discuss everything that they would need. Being that they were a new business, they knew they would need a website, they needed to advertise online and they would need to grow their social media channels. They were essentially starting from ground-zero.
We started by first designing them a brand-new website. We knew that given the nature of their business that most of their customers would be visiting the website on a smartphone – so we designed the site with the mobile user in mind, first and foremost. We then built into the website an online tool that allows customers to choose their game and pay – all right online. All they have to do after that is show up to Michigan Escape Games and they company can look up the customer by their name. Furthermore, Michigan Escape Games has a login to simple dashboard where they can see their online sales, recent customer bookings and much more.
Once their website was live we setup social media profiles for their company. We helped them setup social media on some of the most important platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & TripAdvisor (given their type of business). We integrated those social profiles onto their website; in order to gain followers and encourage customer reviews.
With their website live and all of their social media accounts setup, it was time to advertise the business. We did advertising on both Google (Google Adwords) and Facebook. Google Advertising is important because we could advertise to local people searching for both ‘escape games’ and fun things to do in the area. Facebook advertising was important, as well, because we could target a lot of different age groups with a fun, new thing to do with friends and family.
Today, Michigan Escape Games averages almost 5,000 unique website visitors per month, they have a following well-over 5,000 people across all of their social media platforms, and they get thousands of people to their website that click on their online advertisements from Google and Facebook.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”150px”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
